Hello all!

It's been a long time since anyone even written on this blog. Well, there's now a good reason to write here because of an event worth celebrating!

It's Ms Kong Lei Zun's WEDDING!

Ms Kong is inviting our whole class to her church wedding and here are the details:

When: Saturday, 31/5/2008, 2pm
Where: Singapore Thomson Road Baptist Church
Dress code: Smart casual (she didn't say but at least we should coordinate so we won't look out of place)
Present: we should buy something for them to show our sincerity besides our presence at their wedding:)
Our meeting together before reaching the church: Novena MRT station (it is within walking distance)

We can meet for lunch before that if you all want.

Please let me (JORENE) know if you are going by latest, this Wednesday, 30/4/2008 as Ms Kong needs to know the exact number.

that day we went to the class tee guy there.
he said that it will cost ard 15-16 for the class tee if its cotton i think
and then he said that we can actually make sleeveless if we have 10 pieces and abv
so maybe some can get the sleeveless one and others the one with sleeve
and then abt the colors, lulu and i think that the green one below is nice
then jo suggested the orange color at the pic below.
can u all leave a tag here whether u want wat color and with or with out sleeve and any suggestions and objections.

hello ppl,

we have been with each other for almost a year. at this point in time, i think we should be truthful, considerate and be more sincere to each other. we are kind of superficial to each other, don't you all think? all we can talk about is almost nonsensical. do we want to live a life talking about all this kind of things in life? we have to treat each other better and with sincerity. not just to say things without meaning it. we may joke all the time but we really should reflect.

we are 17. we may not find our true friends now. but i hope to be a true friend to each and every one of you and i hope you all can be mine too. we cannot see just the bad in a person but we should think about the good of everybody. don't you all think so?

i want to imagine 10 years down the road where we can still hold gatherings and laugh at our sufferings and happiness 10 years back. i can imagine that with all of you around.

when we do things, we should be considerate towards others. we may seek others' opinion. but there are a lot of variables to consider and if we appreciate everybody, we'll consider their opinions seriously. rmb, we are in this TOGETHER.

true friends are hard to find. we have to be united as one. nobody comes into your life without a purpose and the purpose of us being classmates is that we are fated to meet each other and bring joy and share sufferings together.

this is just what i really feel after some time thinking about register no. 2 to 22 in our class.

thanks to jian hao and qixiang for being fellow class leaders. it's fun to joke and go for some boring meetings.

i'm grateful to be in the same pw group as grace, weikang and menghow. i wouldn't have wished for a better pw group than ours. and i don't mind reliving the pw experience again. gracie is totally fun in the same grp. i don't hate you, wk. i find u full of gk and i hope to be a person full of gk. just that sometimes you are plain irritating. menghow is a silent joker, very stealth in his jokes.

we all have something in common. we all have the same goal. we have to be united.

i hope that after our a levels, we can go for a backpacking trip around asia. at least let's plan for something we can embark tgt even as we part. i hope we won't have to part cos i want to attend all your weddings.

i know, recently, it has always been about choir this choir that and never about my studies, i've been sort of just getting by tutorials and lectures and everything in school, and when i go for choir, i'm in full attention. yes should not, i know, but i can't help it, lectures spped through everything, so i dono, put a note to go home to find out. okie. but school ends so late everyday, by the time i reach home+procrastinate a bit here and there, it's already 9-10 that i get home-most of the time because of choir. should i drop choir then? crazy! this is the best "subject" i do in school and besides, it's the only one that i'm really passionate about. sometimes i really wonder if i had just gone to poly....

today in particular so quite a bad day for me....
i woke up this morning a bit funny, erm different, just different.

okie i'm kinda the person that wakes up in the morning and believe that i something happens then the day is going to be crap. but anyways...

when i reached school at 7.50, i met cheng en- his father's car was like behind mine. ya. dono why wasn't particularlly happy to see him in the morning like other mornings. just felt a little different, but anyway we talked and everything.... then it was when we reached the choir room that it started to turn bad. there were like only 6 people there... i was kinda mad that the turn up was so little given that practice starts at 8... so i decided to put it aside and see what happens-

okie that point in time, i had really wanted the turn up to be very little so i can scold them all, if they were like very very late.

by the time 8 came, it felt like only half the choir was there, and i started to fume, so i sat at the table outside the door and started timing, and as the minutes past, my determination to do something evil grew, i was like growing horns or something.... by the time 8.15 came, i decided to just lock the doors so that anyone later would be locked out.... and i did....

standing there doing warm ups, i kinda felt prud that i made a step toward the discipline that i promised the choir when i ran for president. i thought it was quite a clear statement and my intention, purely to scare the people outside so that they would not be late again. but then one of the seniors outside msg her good friend in the room, who then asked me to open the door for her and i said no. my section leader, who they where all friends with, then asked me to open the door,

i said no... was trembling a bit.

then he commanded that i open the door. serious

i did not budge..

he then streched out his hand asking for the key and looked me dead in the eye... the tention in the rrom as many around us watched could be sliced with a knife.

(by the way he was president of Cat high choir, and he was scary)

reluctantly, i passed him the key, and with it a symbol of weakness, i was embaressed as vice-pres. embaressed infront of the whole choir. i just didn't want to pick a fight with him because and purely because he was my senior. but he chose to leave me stranded, he portried me as the one who did not think or feel, one who acted on rashness, and portraied he himself as the upright, for the people kind heroe that has the guts to go against "authority". and at that time i felt alone. so alone, although i was stand amongst 60 other people, i was alone.

naturally, choir practice followed what happened, all my seniors started to bouycort me, the friends that i thought i had. it was like history repeat itself, when ever i was vice-pres. of anything, people would always move away from me... and i thought JC had changed my life... well i guess i was wrong.... i guess this is the way that it all has to be the same thing over again....

you would be the one that everyone would critisise about your every move, well you are expected to be perfect... because you are the leader, you would be the one that everyone would turn off when you speak. you would be the one who they just say hi, and then walk away. and for me i didn't really mind that in any other situation, secondary school or primary, because i had a very ood support system, my friends would feel that same way and help me... they would be the ones who talk to me, care about me, ask me not to get so mad. but now, i don't have that system, i don't have anyone here with me.... and although my admin com is truly understanding of the situation, they do not care about how i feel after i have said something, i believe because they have their own support system. And so i'm alone.

later that evening, i recieved a message that shocked me...
i'm re-evaluating if i should stay on in AJ...

i was like again?

i'll be bringing my resignation letter when i meet the principal on monday....

i got so worried that i called him...
and we talked- Choir issues too sensative to mention here-

guys you know what i'm talking about... the rest i think you know. pls don tell anyone else.
Mrs cheong if by any chance you see this, most of the things should be revealed by monday evening itself.

the whole night was ruin, it was supposed to be for the SM2 scholars, but i just sat there half the time, stoning, because i didn't know what to do.... but either way, someone's going to get hurt, and i don't want to be a cause for that, but if nature should take it's cause, then everyone would get hurt..... i just ddn't know what to do....

today is the second day, and i'm feeling better.. going back to school tomolo, dono how that will turn out...

anyways, i'm the choir's vice-president now... haha....
i guess i wanted president, but hey how much worse is vice? and it actually can be better, given that i should have to shoulder less responsibility given my lousy grades.... haha...

hey, look forward to this saturday okie? but it would be college day, i'm so sorry to tell you guys but i can only make it later that night... don kill me... cos i'm trying to push for choir prac...
the competition is closing in so fast and we have so much to do... it's almost imposible, i have about 4-6 practices with the conductor before we step on stage(excluding extra prac-which would be like another 3 more prac?) it's so crazy! and the thing is that anyone in the world can join... that means the best from america, africa(didn't think they had choirs there huh), china, you name it....

and it's so scary.... we don't want to go there to throw face... hiaz... futhermore, we are automaically admitted to the finals.... give our standard, i'm even worried that we can win SYF....

hi, this is welfare here...

i know we've not been having any outings lately cause everyone is busy with work and what have you nots.... but anyway, remember that we have 3 events coming up....

1)choir conert(11 may)- it is a 75% that the ushers thingy is on however, i have yet to recieve any confirmation the problem now should be on the number of ppl we need, mrs cheong says that we should be able to include the whole class so i think it should be ok... as for the early releasal erm.... mrs cheong if you are reading this... haha.... don han tum-kill me....

2)C.O. concert(12 may)-erm to date there is only one person confirm going for this thing-kane-ya... it is priced at $10 it is at the same place as the choir concert so it would be like going down to the same place smae time... pls try to get the tickets from esther... ppl pls come with me... i bought the tickets already....

3)BBQ(towards end of may)- this would officaily be a class outing most tentative ly it would be at the welfare ass. house-ying tung. this is like a farewell thingy cause the SM2 scholars would then leave us, it has to be done before june holidays. i would like to appeal to you guys to have some sort of a pot-luck thingy cum BBQ... so can start asking your parents liao ok?

hihi people, this is your welfare cum treasurer

okie there are many things that we will be having as a class,

first and for most, we will be having a bbq for the Harrison, jerry and long hui
most probably it will be held at Ying tung's place.

The com is planning it to be on a sat (full day, 11-6) we will be watching some movies, or playing sports, majiong, cards, dinner and the highlight the bbq. the date for this is not confirmed yet, but it would most likely be on 15 of April... day after good friday....

okie that's all for welfare so far, further welfare annoucements will be posted on this blog the next time...
